Granting Field Level Security (FLS) to existing fields without committing work in progress is a strategic action often needed to manage user access efficiently. By flagging the Sales Profile as Selected and setting the field as Retrieve Only, Ana effectively modifies the permissions associated with that field directly related to the Sales Profile.

This action allows sales users to view the data in the field without allowing them to modify it, which aligns perfectly with the requirement of granting access while ensuring that the integrity of the current work is maintained. It allows for a targeted approach to managing user permissions, enabling Ana to ensure that her changes are precise and do not interfere with other ongoing work or settings in the system.

Other options involve actions that either commit changes (which isn't desired in this scenario) or remove existing security settings, potentially leading to more significant access issues than needed. By selecting the appropriate settings for the profile and the field, Ana can maintain control over user access in a structured way.
